Web-based Exams Book

I have recently been receiving a lot of email about the book I published last Spring about web-based exams.  To make it easier to get more info, I have included a dedicated page in this blog to that book.  Just click on the “Web-Based Exams Book Info” tab at the top of this blog.

It includes a link to Amazon.com where anyone can buy it.

Thanks to all of my friends and colleagues that have spread the word about the book.

www.davedulany.com now takes you here!

We talk about domain re-directs in several of my IS courses at AU.  As an example of this, I have set up my www.davedulany.com domain to automatically re-direct to this blog.  Try it!

It is easy to set up and can usually be done in your domain registrar’s settings for your domain.  In my case, that’s GoDaddy and they make it really easy to change your settings.

There are lots of reasons for wanting to re-direct your domain name:

1)  If you are trying to drive traffic to your web site, but your name is easily mis-spelled, you can buy the domain names with the typo and then re-direct the reader to your actual domain.

2) You can use it to temporarily re-direct readers to a backup web site, if your primary web site is down.

3) You can use it to re-direct readers to a completely new web site.
